Let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger; for your anger does not produce God’s righteousness.
James 1:19-20
Lord, we ask that, as couples live together as husbands and wives, you would give us ears to listen well and the patient persistence to love one another no matter how frustrated we may sometimes feel. Holy Spirit, we invite you into our marriages. May we have the grace to let go of the anger we think we are entitled to when our plans are challenged, and may we experience the delight of your best life for us.
