Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits… A gentle tongue is a tree of life.
Proverbs 18:21 & 15:4
Lord, thank you that you who are the Word, have given us the gift of words. Help us only to speak kindly to one another; may our words always encourage and build up and not tear down. We ask that in our marriages, we may learn to lovingly praise each other, and that in so doing, we may discover that we are truly praising you.
