Day #20
Agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you… The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.
2 Corinthians 13:11,13
Lord, in all our marriages, may our homes be havens of peace. Help us each to first find peace within ourselves – the peace that comes as we allow ourselves to be embraced by the loving grace of Jesus. As we wrestle with our own fears and anxious thoughts, may we not turn this into fighting with each other. Help us to live in your love. Come Holy Spirit! Just as the holy dove alighted on Jesus at his baptism, may the spirit of peace so rest on us that we may live in peace, even when storms rage around us. May we experience the unlimited kindness of the Lord Jesus Christ. May God overwhelm us with his love, and may the Holy Spirit join our hearts together always.
