Day #25
Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.
Colossians 3:14-15
Father, we pray for ourselves and for other marriages that, as we learn to forgive and let go of past hurts, we may truly embrace love as our new identity. Let it be your love which defines who we are as lovers made new in Christ. As we learn to love each other better, may the peace of Jesus rule our lives and our homes. May it begin from the heart and spread from the inside out into our communities. For you have called us to be one body – one flesh – and we will for ever give you joyful thanks.
