Day #4
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help. Again, if two lie together, they keep warm; but how can one keep warm alone? And though one might prevail against another, two will withstand one. A threefold cord is not quickly broken.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
Lord, may husbands and wives always lift each other up whenever one stumbles in the way; may they keep their relationship hot through their love and care each for the other. May they stand together against any opposition and remain united and strong. May your love and grace bind them together into an unbreakable cable, which doesn’t fray or come apart no matter what strain is put on it.
