Day #47
Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created.

Since you excel in everything – in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you – see that you also excel in this grace of giving.
2 Corinthians 8:7
Father, thank you that you are the source of every good and every perfect gift. You are always kind, always generous towards us, whether we think we deserve it or not. In each of our lives, but especially in our marriages, may we act as who we truly are – as your children, the firstfruits of a new creation. May we excel in the grace of giving – and receiving – gifts.
